Patient-focused Medical Assistant advancing compassionate international patient care.
What I'm looking for
I’m a patient-focused Medical Assistant and Public Health graduate, and I bring hands-on experience coordinating clinical workflows, supporting patient mobility needs, and delivering compassionate care from intake through follow-up. I’m bilingual in Spanish/English and committed to confidentiality and service excellence, especially when supporting international patients in Panama.
In my clinical internship and home-care roles, I’ve supported smooth patient experiences in fast-paced settings by greeting patients, confirming needs, and helping them move efficiently through check-in and exam areas. I collected and documented patient information—including chief complaint, medications, and vital signs—in electronic medical records to maintain data accuracy, while also preparing rooms and explaining procedures to improve comfort.
I’m confident with clinical and documentation responsibilities, including CLIA-waived lab testing (draw blood and specimen labeling/process for send-out testing), diagnostic testing support such as EKG, and accurate charting of services rendered, results, and supplies used. I also support mobility and daily living using care plans and safe transfer practices, maintain clean and safe environments, and coordinate logistics like transportation and delivery support—always with HIPAA mindset and BLS readiness.
