At GW Journal of Ethics in Publishing, I create social media marketing content, work with committees to solicit manuscripts, and started the monthly GWJEP Bulletin newsletter. I also assisted with research for a rebrand and the switch from Manifold to Open Journal Systems (OJS).
For Book Publicity and Promotion at GW, I built a publicity and promotional plan for a new publication, covering its marketing strategy, customer personas, selling points, and customer journeys.
My publishing coursework at George Washington University included creating a publishing entrepreneurship for a third-party publishing service, covering marketing, copyright, and translation. I also explored publishing business practices, publisher missions, acquisitions, and profit and loss statements.
Before focusing on publishing, I worked as a paralegal at Perona, Langer, Beck, Harrison Law, Utah Disability, P.C., and Johnson Mark LLC. I managed 150–400 cases alongside coworkers at different stages of the Social Security application process, and wrote and reviewed case correspondence and evidence.
