At South London and Maudsley, I work with young people in the Adolescent Inpatient Unit, using trauma-informed and DBT-informed approaches and completing child and adolescent OT assessments. I also coordinate ward activities and provide regular supervision to four Occupational Therapy Assistants.
On the Male Forensic PICU/Admissions Ward, I led the relaunch of RiVinted, a second-hand clothing stall offering patients real-life shopping experiences and vocational opportunities. I also developed RiMake and Design upcycling sessions and secured Maudsley Charity funding for equipment.
Earlier, as the sole OT on South London and Maudsley’s Female Acute Ward, I developed a new ward programme and delivered individual and group interventions. My creative background in fashion pattern cutting informs how I design engaging therapeutic activities, and I’m seeking Occupational Therapy opportunities in Spain.
