What I'm looking for

I seek a role that values collaboration and offers opportunities for professional growth in national security.

I have 20 years of experience in military intelligence, counterintelligence, physical security, and federal investigations. My background in data analysis, risk mitigation, fraud detection, and stakeholder reporting has prepared me to bring a highly transferable skill set that aligns closely with data-driven business intelligence functions.

My experience includes:

• Advanced Data Analysis & Pattern Recognition: At DHS-CBP, I evaluated traveler and immigration data to detect security threats, which is directly parallel to how businesses analyze customer behavior, market trends, or operational risks.

• Strategic Decision-Making Under Pressure: I provided real-time recommendations during high-stakes missions, including Operation Allies Welcome—experience that mirrors BI-driven decision-making around market shifts, financial investment, or crisis response.

• Investigative Research & Fraud Detection: I identified national fraud rings using cross-referenced data. In a BI role, this equates to uncovering billing anomalies, procurement abuse, or vendor inconsistencies.

• Multi-Source Data Integration: I routinely synthesized SIGINT, HUMINT, and OSINT into comprehensive reports, similar to unifying sales, operations, and financial data to guide strategic business initiatives.

• Risk Modeling & Mitigation: I created threat assessments for military facilities and government programs, which is comparable to corporate risk analysis in areas like finance, supply chain, or market expansion.

• Operational Optimization: I improved workflow and SOPs within USCIS, just as BI professionals streamline reporting pipelines and dashboard automation for greater efficiency.

• Leadership & Mentoring: I led intelligence teams and trained future officers, preparing me to guide business stakeholders through data fluency and cross-departmental analytics initiatives.

In my most recent role, I conducted complex travel and behavioral data analysis, collaborated across agencies, and produced intelligence products that supported high-level national security initiatives. Prior to CBP, I created standardized tracking systems, uncovered large-scale fraud rings, and led the development of investigative workflows at USCIS.

As I transition from government intelligence to business intelligence, I bring a deep commitment to accuracy, a strategic mindset, and a history of cross-functional collaboration. I would welcome the opportunity to discuss how my experience and skills can contribute to your team’s success. Thank you for considering my application. I look forward to the possibility of an interview.
