Provided overnight newborn care and parent education during the postpartum period in the family’s home, supporting feeding, sleep routines, soothing, bathing, developmental care, and reflux. Offered lactation-focused education to assist breastfeeding mothers with positioning, latching, pumping, and feeding concerns.

Provided comprehensive care for premature and ill newborns in a 9-bed Level II NICU, including neonatal resuscitation support for vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections. Supported CPAP and therapies such as phototherapy and IV therapy, and educated families on newborn feeding, safe sleep, car seat safety, jaundice, and discharge preparation.

Provided advanced neonatal care for critically ill premature and term infants in the Level IV NICU. Managed high-acuity patients requiring respiratory support, central-line management, medication infusions, nutritional support, and coordinated care with a multidisciplinary team.

Supported interprofessional learning and led onboarding and orientation for newly hired nurses and patient care assistants. Developed annual competencies for more than 20 staff to ensure regulatory compliance and evidence-based practice, and collaborated with leadership to improve unit education, workflow, professional development, and morale.

Provided pediatric nursing care across multiple inpatient specialties, serving as a resource nurse during high-acuity situations while managing patient assignments. Delivered patient and family education focused on medication administration, disease management, and developmental care, and supported mentorship through precepting and onboarding.
