Jenisha Shrestha

I am a computer engineering student focused on machine learning and computer vision, with hands-on experience building deep learning models and real-time systems. I combine academic training with practical project work to solve real-world problems.

My projects include a facial expression recognition system using Python, OpenCV and CNNs, and data-driven analyses addressing gender bias in medical diagnosis; I emphasize rigorous data preprocessing, model tuning and clear evaluation metrics.

I have contributed to AR-based tourism solutions integrating Unity, Flutter and Firebase, and I actively participate in AI communities as Secretary of Pie & AI and as a Campus Ambassador for LOCUS. I bring strong teamwork, research skills and a problem-solving mindset.

I hold multiple certifications in data science, AI ethics and OpenCV, and I seek roles where I can apply machine learning, computer vision and data analysis to create impactful, user-centered products.
