What I'm looking for

I'm looking to build secure, high-impact full-stack products, especially in payments and digital platforms, while setting strong engineering standards, mentoring teams, and growing Magengrim from Malawi to a global client base.

At Magengrim, I lead the engineering behind KwathuPay, a payment gateway unifying Airtel Money, TNM, and bank card rails through one integration. I also lead Pine, connecting Malawi Stock Exchange investors to brokers through a card-funded trading flow.

I build across React, React Native, Node.js, and Express, bringing UI/UX thinking into every implementation. My work includes KwathuChat, a commerce super app for marketplaces, rides, rent, utilities, and messaging, plus Ophunzila, a practice-focused learning platform with virtual labs, AI tutors, and group discussion.

Before founding Magengrim, I delivered and maintained production platforms at Digital Lake Malawi and owned interface delivery from research to front-end code at Cool Enterprises Limited. I care about secure, maintainable systems, thoughtful documentation, and mentoring engineers in craftsmanship over speed.
