What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a backend-focused role where I can build secure, scalable REST APIs using Java and Spring Boot, contribute to production reliability, and collaborate in an Agile/Scrum team.

I’m a software engineer and backend developer focused on building secure, scalable enterprise applications. I work with Java and Spring Boot to deliver dependable backend services and RESTful APIs.

At Nihilent Limited, I worked on the Nedbank banking project, developing and enhancing REST APIs for banking modules. I also resolved production issues, implemented feature enhancements, and collaborated in Agile/Scrum through code reviews, debugging, testing, and deployment.

I’ve built full-stack experiences too, including a Java Spring Boot + Angular web application with REST APIs and CRUD functionality. In my POCs, I implemented security with JWT and role-based authorization, and used Apache Kafka with ZooKeeper plus the ELK Stack for asynchronous messaging and centralized logging.
