I've led hands-on engineering for Rocket Learning's core platforms, scaling a Laravel system from roughly 50,000 to 500,000–1,000,000+ daily requests and guiding a Next.js product serving 50,000–100,000+ daily users.

I modernized Rocket Learning's Laravel ecosystem with a Laravel 11 and Livewire rebuild, resolved infrastructure bottlenecks across nginx, queues, MySQL, Redis, and deployments, and built internal tooling and dashboards. I also grew the engineering team from 1 to 13 developers, conducted 500+ interviews, and established hiring, onboarding, review, documentation, and performance practices.

As an independent consultant, I lead healthcare and business software from requirements and architecture through development, deployment, troubleshooting, and improvement. My recent work includes Laravel dealer-management platforms, Python applications for IVD instruments and medical sterilizers, Next.js client websites, and e-commerce products.

Earlier, I modernized a multi-tenant healthcare SaaS platform at Great Valley Technologies / Practice Alternatives, including HL7 reporting and EDI 270/271 eligibility integrations. I bring 12+ years across backend, full-stack delivery, healthcare, EdTech, architecture, mentoring, and pragmatic technical leadership.
