At STRHS, I manage an inpatient geriatric psychiatric unit serving 4–12 patients with a team of 3–4 staff members. I administer medications and IV therapy, provide individual and group behavioral therapy, conduct chart and unit audits, report to physicians, and educate patients and families.
I also bring case management experience from Affordable Home Health Care, where I educated clients and families, assessed home safety, coordinated meetings, and secured grants and financial assistance for medications and home repairs. My background includes managed care, prior authorizations, instructional design, ICD-10 knowledge, and Board Certified Case Manager certification.
