What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a senior Azure/Databricks/Fabric data engineering role where I can build governed lakehouses, automate pipelines with CI/CD, and deliver reliable batch and real-time performance for analytics and dashboards.

I’m a Senior Software Engineer focused on end-to-end Azure data engineering and lakehouse delivery, owning everything from architecture and security model to production support at UnitedHealth Group (Optum) for 6+ years. I’ve designed Medallion lakehouses on Azure Databricks over multi-terabyte, heterogeneous sources, improving pipeline runtimes and delivering governed Gold-layer datasets adopted by multiple stakeholder groups.

My work centers on strong governance and reliability—Unity Catalog governance, Delta Lake quality enforcement, and observability—backed by metadata-driven frameworks, incremental ingestion with Delta MERGE, and SCD Type 1/Type 2. I now aim to grow as a Senior Azure Data Engineer/Databricks Data Engineer/Microsoft Fabric Data Engineer, including projects like Microsoft Fabric Lambda architecture with batch + streaming, anomaly-aware dashboards, and an AI chat interface querying live event data.
