Jatin Bajaj

I’m a Computer Science & Engineering student at Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology, focused on building reliable backend systems (B.E. CGPA: 8.55/10).

As a Backend Developer Intern at Nexarats Technical Solutions Pvt. Ltd., I develop backend services and RESTful APIs using Java, Spring Boot, and Spring MVC. I also implemented authentication and role-based authorization using Spring Security and Keycloak, and integrated relational databases through JPA/Hibernate for efficient persistence.

I build practical systems through projects like HireHub, an online job portal developed with Spring Boot and MySQL. I implemented RBAC, created RESTful APIs for authentication and job/application tracking, and used Spring Security with JWT-based authentication and BCrypt password encryption.

In Vulnalyzer, I developed a dependency exploit mapper that detects security risks in software dependencies using the OSV API, with a SQLite-backed metadata store and an AI ensemble model to prioritize high-risk vulnerabilities. My work has been recognized with 1st Runner-Up at “Innovative with TRAE” and 2nd Runner-Up at HackHelix Hackathon, and I’m driven to keep learning, shipping, and improving system security.
