Nayan Joshi

I’m an entry-level Java backend developer focused on building scalable, secure RESTful APIs with Spring Boot. I combine strong Core Java and OOP foundations with practical Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, and Hibernate to deliver reliable backend features.

During my 4-month internship at Shisham Infotech, I helped develop backend REST APIs for a live production system using a layered Controller-Service-Repository approach. I integrated Spring Data JPA with MySQL for persistence, supported CRUD operations, and worked with the team on debugging, code reviews, and unit testing.

In my projects, I built an E-Commerce backend with 25+ REST APIs, implementing pagination and sorting using JPQL and custom queries. I also secured endpoints using Spring Security with JWT authentication, BCrypt encoding, and role-based authorization, plus global exception handling via @ControllerAdvice.

I’m also comfortable with microservices-oriented development and basics of DevOps tooling, including Docker and Kubernetes, to help deploy and scale backend services. I’m especially motivated by secure API design and clean, maintainable backend workflows that support real-world use.
