What I'm looking for
I’m a product & operations leader with 16 years at one company, spanning full IT infrastructure ownership, employee training program design, and end-to-end product management for a multi-family utility billing and resident payments platform. I built the internal systems and vendor software stack a growing SaaS business runs on, then shifted into owning product strategy and execution for the core platform—without letting go of hands-on customer training, onboarding, and support. Since 2025, I’ve been working as an independent software consultant, and I’m open to new full-time opportunities as of June 2026.
As Product Manager & Scrum Master (2017–2025) at AMS Billing (acquired by Inhabit IQ), I owned end-to-end product strategy for a greenfield, cloud-native billing platform that replaced a 15-year-old legacy system. I led a cross-functional team of 7 engineers (PHP/React) to ship a scalable engine processing $15M+ in monthly payments, defined and prioritized a multi-year roadmap using the RICE framework, and presented quarterly priorities directly to the CEO and board.
I drove 80%+ automation of manual billing workflows through large-scale data analysis and third-party REST API integrations (e.g., Blue Moon, ResidentIQ, ePremium), and I launched Invoice Processing from 0 to $200k+ MRR—reducing utility shut-off incidents by double-digit percentages. I also led zero-downtime migrations while maintaining 99.99%+ uptime and served as War Room lead for rare incidents, coordinating resolution in under 15 minutes. I shipped native iOS and Android apps and paired them with demos, workshops, and implementation support to improve adoption and trust.
Before product leadership, I served as Director of IT (2009–2017), owning IT operations for a growing SaaS business and selecting, implementing, and training staff on core software tools to support scaling from roughly 12,000 to over 50,000 billed units. My foundation also comes from second-generation restaurant operations and digital transformation (2000–2009), and I earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Savannah College of Art & Design, applying human-centered design principles to prototype, iterate, and ship functional experiences.
