I’ve been leading data modernization at PwC in Nairobi since 2022, transforming Africa Finance reporting across 13 business units with SQL, SSIS, Azure, and Power BI. I built Power BI dashboards for senior leadership, automated extraction/validation workflows, and added KPI-threshold alerting to cut cycle times and reduce error rates.
Before that, I owned end-to-end implementation and maintenance of Oracle EMFI and EPM systems, translating financial planning requirements into stable solutions and managing change requests through impact assessment and post-change validation. I’ve also driven enterprise-wide change management across 17 business units (10,000+ staff) and built data governance frameworks with RBAC, access reviews, and a metadata/data catalogue to improve lineage and self-service analytics.
