What I'm looking for

I'm looking for a remote IT support opportunity, with openness to relocating to Bristol for a hybrid or office-based role, where I can apply troubleshooting, technical problem-solving and customer-service skills.

I'm transitioning into IT support after nine years maintaining, diagnosing and repairing rail and plant equipment.

At Torrent Trackside Limited, I carried out servicing, safety-critical inspections and repairs across rail, plant and lifting equipment. I diagnosed mechanical, hydraulic and basic electrical faults using technical documentation and functionality tests.

I've maintained accurate servicing and testing records, explained faults and repairs clearly to customers, and independently delivered priority work to deadlines. I also supported new hires and colleagues by sharing technical knowledge.

I've completed the Google IT Support Professional Certificate and am studying for CompTIA A+. I bring hands-on Windows, PC hardware, peripheral configuration, basic networking and customer-service skills to an IT support role.
