Delivers instructor-led and virtual training for new Transportation Security Officers at TSA Academy West. Designs and updates course materials and coordinates training logistics.

Directed daily security operations and training for 20+ armed security professionals protecting 100+ buildings across NSHE campuses. Designed and implemented security training programs and served as liaison with university police.

Supervised security officers across multiple states, coordinated scheduling and resource allocation, and led investigations involving fraud and insider threats. Partnered with security operations center personnel and coached officers.

Managed multiple armed Emergency Response Team units and provided security operations across MGM Resorts properties. Served as firearms and tactics instructor and Glock Armorer, improving team proficiency and earning top firearms performance awards.

Conducted law enforcement boardings in multiple ports for enforcement of substantive laws, recreational boating safety, and commercial fisheries regulations. As a unit-designated law enforcement instructor (LEI), scheduled training on defensive tactics, firearm marksmanship, use of force policy, and inspection of safety equipment.

Delivered pre-deployment instruction on crew-served weapons, entry control point operations, and CBRN response. Served as Range Safety Officer and Law Enforcement Instructor, and taught Tactical Combat Casualty Care.

Designed and delivered maritime law-enforcement training to 6,000+ students from 29+ federal agencies. Served as Use of Force Subject Matter Expert and contributed to curriculum development.

Provided tactical maritime training courses to military/law enforcement. Instruction in combat marksmanship, defensive tactics in a confined space, tactical boarding considerations, armed operations on board vessels underway, and maritime breaching techniques. A major component of our training curriculum was used by Battelle Memorial Institute for the publication of a Maritime Breaching Handbook.

Acted as a patrol officer for the Northwest Area Command, with daily duties included patrol of Ida District. Assisted K-9 patrol units as a cover officer and certified as a K-9 agitator for training purposes.

Established an anti-terrorism physical security detachment in response to the 9/11 attacks in New York, New York. Served as a Tactical Boarding Officer, I conducted over 150 High-Interest Vessel Boardings, 800+ Homeland Security Boardings, and numerous shoreside facility sweeps of critical infrastructure in the New York City and several major cities on the eastern seaboard.
