What I'm looking for

I’m available for AI governance, AI risk and compliance, and policy work in remote, contract, or full-time roles.

At Harambee Business, I advise organizations operating between the United States and East Africa on governance, regulation, and risk. I also design and operate the AI research infrastructure behind the practice, with role-scoped access, human approval before external actions, and a retained audit trail.

As a City Commissioner for the City of District Heights, Maryland, I served on the municipality’s five-member governing body and participated in adopting four annual budgets. As Recreation Department Liaison, I authored the department mission statement and redesigned its staff structure.

At Maryland State Education Association, I interpreted and enforced negotiated agreements and employment law, conducted evidence-based workplace investigations, and represented the association before the Maryland General Assembly. I also trained and advised elected leaders on parliamentary procedure.

I’ve spent years making rules and complex issues usable, including as a national Master Trainer and facilitator of town halls and public deliberation. I now brief boards, staff, and clients on AI risk, drawing on working knowledge of the NIST AI RMF, ISO/IEC 42001, and the EU AI Act.
