At the City of Friendswood, I authored the City’s Artificial Intelligence Policy and AI Procurement Policy, and integrated AI oversight into its data and records governance framework. I also designed and developed AI Guard, an in-house governance and monitoring capability aligned with the NIST AI Risk Management Framework.
Before returning to the City as an IT Business and Policy Analyst, I managed international deployments at Maxerience, leading production deployments of NVIDIA-based computer-vision machine-learning systems across eight countries. Earlier, I designed network infrastructure and security solutions for public-sector and enterprise clients at Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise and Capgemini.
My Master of Public Policy training complements my enterprise and carrier-grade IT experience. In applied policy research, I co-authored analyses of food and healthcare access across Texas counties and of flooding impacts on socially vulnerable populations.
