I'm a full-stack engineer from the Philippines with two years of professional React and TypeScript experience and a habit of shipping complete systems on my own time.

At work I'm a core developer migrating a legacy desktop property management system to a production web app — React/Next.js frontends, NestJS services, and cross-stack defect work spanning client, API, and database, on a bilingual English/Japanese team. I also built a QR-based parking system with realtime slot monitoring and event-driven AWS SNS/SQS notifications, plus the team's internal bug-analysis tooling.

Outside work I build products end to end. JF & The World is a collaborative map app live in production — Supabase/Postgres with row-level security, realtime sync, web push, signed uploads. ScoutBoard is a realtime marketplace platform: NestJS, MongoDB, Redis cache-aside, Socket.IO feeds pushing into TanStack Query caches, denormalized counters repaired by a reconciliation cron, and an LLM analyst endpoint returning structured JSON — full Jest suite, green CI. HTTP Monitor is a realtime monitoring dashboard on the same stack.

What I care about: ownership, short feedback loops, and systems I can reason about — caching and invalidation, races settled in the database, queues carrying side effects, not decisions. I'm happiest at early-stage startups where I can take a problem from schema to UI.

Practical: remote from GMT+8 with flexible overlap for US/EU hours, open to employment via EOR or contracting. English fluent, Japanese at working level (JLPT N4, bilingual team experience).
