Jacob Komen

I’m a Project Management graduate with a background in Communication and Media Studies, and I translate that into clear, accountable project delivery. I coordinate project communication, support implementation through documentation and reporting, and keep timelines and deliverables on track for government-funded work.

In my role as Project manager at Koibos General Contractors, I managed internal and external communications, including project reports. I also developed and implemented communication strategies for ongoing projects to ensure clear messaging to stakeholders and the public.

Earlier, as a Youth Development Officer Intern, I publicized funding opportunities to eligible youth groups, women groups and persons living with disabilities. I assessed proposals against set criteria, tracked funded projects against objectives and budgets, conducted site visits for progress and compliance, and collected data to prepare impact reports.

I bring strong compliance and governance instincts, quality assurance, and crisis/issue management to every assignment. I’m also a people-focused team leader who values transparency, deadline discipline, and learning—shaping training and workshops to strengthen leadership and financial management for youth groups.
