Israel Valencia

I'm currently an eighth-cycle Communication student at the University of Lima, where my passion for technology and design has led me to the fields of Product Design and User Experience (UX). I possess knowledge in innovation methodologies such as Design Thinking and Human-Centered Design, as well as user research and interface design. More than just a creative individual, I see myself as an unrelenting explorer of opportunities to create a more accessible digital world.

During my time as a UX Trainee at CRISVA Design Lab, I participated in kick-off meetings and collaborated with stakeholders to align project expectations and objectives. I identified trends and best practices in the Latin American market through benchmarking and user flow mapping. Additionally, I conceptualized and developed components for the UI Kit based on insights gathered during research phases, and created interactive wireframes for user testing validation.

As a Junior Designer at Techplay Latam, I designed and facilitated Figma workshops for students, enhancing their responsive design skills. I conducted user interviews and usability tests to iterate designs based on feedback, while also collaborating on responsive design solutions to ensure compatibility across desktop and mobile platforms. My educational background and hands-on experience have equipped me with a strong foundation in design and user experience.
