I’m a full-stack engineer with a decade-plus of building production software across logistics, payments, and commerce. I keep gravitating toward problems where technical precision and correctness matter—because mistakes are expensive and, in financial systems, often invisible.

At White Rabbit Japan and Blackship, I owned critical cross-border commerce and fulfillment platforms, leading payments, financial infrastructure, fraud prevention, and product development across teams. I designed and shipped a greenfield double-entry ledger, cut it over to live without disruption, and added idempotent, trigger-driven recording plus CI drift checks to ensure ledger and app never disagree.

I also led payments modernization by migrating from primarily off-session to on-session (embedded checkout), helping unlock localized, lower-fee payment methods and reducing card processing costs. Beyond payments, I drove AI automation in production workflows for extraction, behavioral analysis, and likely-fraud flagging—using Claude as an orchestration layer and purpose-fit smaller models where it counts.

To make fraud defense real, I architected in-app KYC with AI document checks, enforced 3DS at checkout, and introduced cross-system holds that stop flagged accounts’ in-transit shipments across platforms before they leave Japan. I’ve also built platform-level serverless workloads on GCP, migrated Hasura GraphQL from Enterprise to self-hosted Cloud Run with Terraform, rolled out secrets management across apps and environments, and led a Vue 2 to 3 migration with a shared, documented design system—while earlier roles and co-founding experience kept me hands-on across the full stack.
