At DLR Institute of Vehicle Concepts, I modelled EU truck hydrogen supply pathways and refuelling infrastructure using spatial and cost-based optimisation to assess climate impacts. I also developed data-driven global transport emission inventories for climate model applications.
I developed a spatial disaggregation approach using road-graph-mimicking neural networks to represent transport activity. I’m currently estimating urban brake and tyre wear emissions at road-link level using high-resolution spatial models and AI-based detection and estimation.
My research at DLR includes building and analysing global and EU transport climate scenarios, incorporating tailpipe and lifecycle emissions. I assessed mitigation measures including teleworking, light electric vehicles and rail freight for transport-sector inputs to the NDCAspects project.
I also evaluated light electric vehicle adoption using lifecycle assessment, utility-based modelling and social impact analysis, and conducted stakeholder engagement workshops. My earlier work at TVS Motor Company Pvt Ltd included engine testing and ECU calibration, durability analysis, and BLDC motor failure analysis.
