At the Asian Development Bank, I support weather index insurance and agricultural risk assessment through satellite imagery, weather-station, and gridded climate data. I develop spatial units, validate datasets, and produce maps and vegetation-index outputs for climate-resilient value chains in Pakistan.
I've built Python, R, and JavaScript tools for remote-sensing automation, including QGIS plugins, the spatialdrought PyPI package, and AirVista, a live multi-hazard environmental platform. My work spans crop monitoring, drought, flood risk, forest change, land deformation, and water resources, alongside training workshops and more than twenty peer-reviewed publications.
