What I'm looking for

I'm seeking an Associate Scientist or Research Scientist position in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry, where I can apply my molecular neuroscience, cell-based assay, microscopy, and quantitative image-analysis experience.

I'm completing an MRes Neuroscience at the University of Sussex, where I designed and executed independent research on the Kv2.1–AMIGO1 protein interaction using HEK293 cell culture, transient transfection, PCR, confocal microscopy, and ImageJ/Fiji analysis.

My earlier research investigated endoplasmic reticulum calcium refilling via Kv2.1 channels through live-cell imaging and statistical analysis. I also gained exposure to pharmaceutical research and product development during an internship at Merck Romania, and I'm seeking an Associate Scientist or Research Scientist role in biotechnology or pharmaceuticals.

MRes Research Project

University of Sussex

Designed and executed an independent molecular neuroscience research project investigating the Kv2.1–AMIGO1 protein interaction. Performed cell culture, transfection, PCR, and confocal microscopy, and quantified protein colocalisation using ImageJ/Fiji.
