I'm am a multidisciplinary Product Designer / UX Designer with an web developer background and a working history of designing and building meaningful experiences for both B2B and B2C products, working with a diverse range of multi-functional teams.

I take pride in designing instinctive interfaces that assist and delight the user by offering simple, intuitive, fun, understandable and engaging experiences.

My diverse career has offered me a unique insight into the many aspects of designing and building SAAS products, from client communication, to requirements gathering and definition to scoping, back-end and front-end development, testing, deployment and analytics.

My past qualifications as an engineer, focussed my skillset on working with PHP and ASP.NET specifically using Wordpress, Umbraco and Sitecore CMS, however moved towards the front-end by learning languages such HTML, CSS, SASS and JS in the form of the Vanilla ES6 and ES7 and recently Vue.js. I continue adapt and use the skills and insights acquired during my engineering career in my current role as a UI/UX designer.

I have a proven history of working closely with the CEO, CTO and product managers to realise their product design vision. I work primarily with UI/UX design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch nd Miro to design projects of a range of scope from reactive UI changes, to new features to maintain large-scale UI design systems.

I take a user-centric design approach and follow the design thinking framework. I supplement these working procedures with Analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Google Optimize, Hotjar, Pendo and Post Hog, to identify and measure the success of new and existing product features.

I continue to explore and be fascinated by how we design the world around us, not just what we see on the screen but what we use and how we experience the physical world. I enjoy being mindful of how good design can enrich someone's life and how good design in other disciplines can apply back to world of the web.
