What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a GIS/data role where I can turn complex spatial datasets into clear maps, visualizations, and compliance-ready reports for environmental and resource projects, while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and maintaining strong data quality.

I’m a GIS and geospatial analysis professional supporting environmental, natural resource, and development projects across Namibia. In my current role as a Senior GIS Consultant at Risk Based Solutions (RBS), I deliver GIS analysis and spatial data support for Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) and Environmental Management Plans (EMP), including map production and spatial reporting that supports permitting and project decision-making.

I combine strong field-based data collection (GPS coordinate capture, environmental monitoring) with rigorous spatial data management—building and maintaining GIS databases and ensuring data quality control using tools like ArcGIS/QGIS and technologies such as MySQL and PostGIS. I also bring technical depth through data analysis and automation (R, Python, JavaScript, GeoNode) and have experience across multidisciplinary teams, onshore and offshore environmental auditing, and stakeholder-focused technical reporting.
