Ijeaku Adim
@ijeakuadim
Forestry researcher specializing in forest carbon modelling, inventory, and sustainable forest operations.
What I'm looking for
I am a motivated PhD candidate and forestry researcher with practical experience in forest inventory, forest growth modelling, and field-based research. My work focuses on landscape-scale forest carbon modelling using LANDIS-II and integrates remote sensing, statistical analysis, and harvest prescription design.
I have contributed to carbon and inventory studies across multiple regions, including temperate and tropical forests, and presented at scientific conferences while publishing peer-reviewed research. I bring hands-on experience in field data collection, remote sensing (Sentinel-1/2), and GIS workflows to translate scientific models into operational recommendations.
I am eager to support safe, effective, and sustainable forest management by improving operational efficiency, informing harvest and road decisions, and applying rigorous data analysis and reporting to meet organizational objectives.
