What I'm looking for

I seek senior technical roles leading ML/NLP teams where I can build production systems on cloud, mentor others, and apply analytics to meaningful social and industry problems.

I am a senior data scientist and technical lead with over a decade of experience applying data-driven analysis, modeling and production delivery across industry and research settings. I have led teams to build semiconductor defect detection, root-cause analysis systems on GCP, knowledge-graph–enhanced search, and shipped NLP deep-learning models for product suites.

My background spans academic research (PhD in experimental high-energy physics) and industrial roles at Micron, Microsoft, and Aricent, where I designed ML systems for sentiment detection, spam/phish detection, offensive language filtering, and model monitoring. I combine expertise in text processing (transformers, LLMs, NLTK, jieba), scientific computing (Python, NumPy, SciPy, C++, pandas, PySpark), and cloud deployments.

I am a technical communicator and mentor—teaching data science courses, speaking at campus and public events, and advising students—focused on leveraging analytics to solve high-priority social problems and improve human life.
