Scientific communications professional translating complex biotech research into clear technical content for life sciences audiences.

Message

For Danaher Life Sciences, Precision for Medicine, Synexa, and GenScript, I developed scientific content that turns complex workflows into clear, customer-facing narratives. My work includes white papers, technical articles, and marketing materials across oncology, drug discovery, and bioanalytics.

At the University of Cape Town, I conducted computational biology research in systems biology and cancer modeling. I developed CytoCopasi, a Cytoscape plugin for visualizing and analyzing biological network models for drug discovery, and designed workflows integrating genomics, proteomics, and glycomics data.

My research also included automating biological data acquisition with REST API and SOAP protocols and modeling tumour–immune interactions in breast cancer. I’ve published research on CytoCopasi and tumour-immune response modeling, and at the National Resource for Network Biology I improved JSBML libraries and biological web service integrations.
