At Akron Children’s Hospital Vision Center, I work as an Ophthalmic Technician & Scribe/PSR, supporting patient care through triage, imaging, and physician scribing.
I also precept new technicians in training and orientation, and handle insurance authorization and charge capture for imaging.
Previously, I worked in Patient Service Representative roles at Akron Children’s Hospital and in customer service and coordinator roles at Giant Eagle. I’m a Certified Ophthalmic Technician and Scribe and a Certified Professional Coder-Apprentice.
