Hector Sarmiento Reyes

My name is Hèctor Manuel Sarmiento Reyes, and I am an accomplished project manager with extensive experience in institutional development and operational management. Currently, I serve as the Institutional Development Manager at Escuela Privada de Auxiliares de Enfermería Carmen María, where I coordinate academic and administrative activities for programs accredited by the Ministry of Health of Guatemala. My role involves implementing branding strategies and overseeing the expansion of our institution across the Caribbean region, managing two strategic locations, and supervising both teaching and administrative staff.

Prior to this, I was the Administrator at Fábrica de Agua Purificada Veredita, where I supervised industrial operations and maintenance, leading a team of 20 individuals. My efforts in creating sales strategies and promotions significantly increased our market presence among both businesses and direct consumers. I also have a strong background in leadership roles, having served as Secretary for the Chamber of Commerce of Guatemala in Chiquimula, where I led training workshops for the commercial sector. My educational background includes an MBA in Project Management from CEREM Business School in Madrid and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from GAIA Business School in Guatemala.
