What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a design role focused on BIM and modular projects, where I can lead Revit/CAD drafting, federate and coordinate models across disciplines, and ensure QA/QC and standards compliance in a collaborative team.

I’m a Design Engineer with a civil engineering background and 5+ years of experience in 2D and 3D CAD drafting for residential and commercial projects. I combine construction-focused design thinking with strong communication and team collaboration to deliver clear, buildable outputs.

In modular work, I’ve developed 2D/3D designs and documentation for architectural, structural, and MEP elements, prepared fabrication shop drawings, and supported procurement lists. I also focus on standards compliance and model coordination—handling BIM model federation and supporting clash detection and resolution to keep interdisciplinary models aligned.

As a BIM Technician for architectural projects, I prepared 2D structural drawings and 3D models, managed federated BIM updates through CDE workflows, and organized coordination meetings. Earlier, as a Design Engineer for modular houses, I led shop drawings and Light gauge steel (LGS) fabrication work, including supervising office pods and implementing a factory recycling preparation program for unusable steel.

My civil engineering experience includes leading design-build efforts for multiple residential buildings, managing engineering/technician teams, and implementing QA/QC standards. I even reduced material costs by 8% through efficient quantity take-offs and supplier negotiations—then continued to strengthen my technical depth through a Master’s in Structural Engineering, including seismic performance research.
