At Kenya Marine and Fisheries Research Institute (KMFRI), I supported environmental baseline monitoring in Mombasa, gathering physical and chemical ocean data to assess pollution vectors. I also participated in mangrove restoration and organized aquaponics trainings for farmers.
At KMFRI in Kirinyaga, I led routine environmental water parameter testing across experimental ponds and monitored fingerling production. I'm pursuing an MSc in Aquaculture and Fisheries sciences at Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources, with thesis research on adaptive capacity, livelihoods, environmental stressors, and changing lake water levels.
