During my industrial attachment at Survey of Kenya, I supported surveying and geospatial data-related activities, including handling and organizing geographical and survey information.
For my independent geospatial research project, I investigated how soil moisture, evapotranspiration and climate variability relate to maize yield in Trans Nzoia County. I used GIS, remote sensing and data-analysis techniques to examine geospatial and temporal datasets.
I graduated from Dedan Kimathi University of Technology with a Bachelor of Science in Geospatial Information Science and Remote Sensing. My experience also includes participating in environmental conservation activities and practical training in GIS and remote sensing.
