My name is Thorne Hans Mweseli, and I am an aspiring actuary with a solid foundation in banking and financial services. I recently completed my degree in Bachelor of Science in Actuarial Science from Moi University and have gained practical experience at Alpha Commercial Bank in South Sudan, where I excelled in client services and business relations. My proactive approach led to increased client acquisition through strategic marketing initiatives at workshops and summits.

In addition to my banking experience, I have participated in national product development competitions, enhancing my understanding of actuarial fundamentals and problem-solving in finance. My recent project involved utilizing data analysis and machine learning techniques to address cyber risk, showcasing my technical skills in Python and data science. I am currently enhancing my knowledge in insurance and actuarial practices through courses at the Actuarial Academy East Africa, focusing on pricing insurance contracts accurately under IFRS 17.
