What I'm looking for

I’m looking to build and ship AI-native, data-heavy product experiences end to end—React/TypeScript, Python/Django, and production-grade infrastructure—ideally in fintech, with room to measure model quality and iterate fast.

Senior product engineer with 16 years of experience, fully remote since 2013. I build data-heavy products end to end—React/TypeScript front ends, Python/Django back ends, and the infrastructure that runs them.

I ship AI-native capabilities in production, including LLM features, RAG, agents, and evals. I’m deliberate about how models are used, measured, and improved over time.

Five years at Metabase helped me scale real, open-source BI: I delivered core customer features while application performance improved as revenue grew ten-fold. I also revitalized Metabase’s public-facing properties through SEO and LLM optimization, contributing to growth from 30,000 to 90,000 customers.

Today I’m building and operating sponda.capital solo as a founder and senior product engineer. My work powers a fundamental-analysis platform with inflation-adjusted indicators, screening, and side-by-side comparison across ~23,000 listed companies—plus a natural-language screening agent with evals in progress.
