What I'm looking for

I seek roles where I can build and productionize ML systems, work on RL/advanced ML research, mentor teams, and deliver scalable, impact-driven solutions in collaborative environments.

I am a machine learning scientist with an M.S. in Computer Science from IME‑USP, focused on reinforcement learning and probabilistic planning. I have 10+ years of experience building large-scale data platforms, end-to-end ML pipelines, and production forecasting systems.

As a founder and engineer, I designed demand forecasting and time-series platforms using models from exponential smoothing and ARIMA to LSTM/GRU and gradient boosting, and implemented robust back ends and data pipelines with Node.js, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, RabbitMQ, Python, TensorFlow/Keras and PyTorch. I have led consulting projects in ML/AI, contributed to scikit-learn, and actively competed in Kaggle challenges.

I bring a results-driven mindset, combining academic research (M.S. thesis on reinforcement learning for stochastic shortest paths) with hands-on product development and open-source contributions, aiming to deliver scalable, production-ready ML solutions that accelerate data-driven decisions.
