What I'm looking for
I help insurance carriers and brokerages grow through the independent agency channel — the place where most personal lines business actually gets written, and where most marketing still misses the mark. My path is the reason. I started as an underwriter at Auto-Owners, spent six years inside the risk decision on high-value homes and private client accounts, and learned firsthand what agents need from a carrier to actually sell a product. I then moved to the brokerage side at Combined Agents of America, where I managed carrier relationships across 90+ agencies and grew a $7M book of high-net-worth personal lines business through carriers including Chubb, AIG, Nationwide Private Client, and VAULT. Today at Hylant, I work on the placement and marketing side of private client risk. That underwriter-to-marketer arc is the difference. I can translate underwriting criteria into messaging agents will actually use, build enablement materials that respect how producers really work, and design campaigns that move adoption — not just impressions.
