I’m looking to own end-to-end backend features in fintech payments—building reliable, idempotent, high-throughput distributed systems on AWS, with strong observability, and real impact on transaction success and operational efficiency.

SDE-II with 4+ years building scalable, event-driven payment systems in fintech. I specialize in distributed systems and focus on reliability, idempotency, and high-throughput transaction processing.

At Kotak Mahindra Bank, I built core bill-payments on AWS with idempotent keys, checksum validation, and a state-machine order lifecycle. I sustained ~200 TPS with p99 ~350 ms and reached 99.6% success across 35+ biller categories.

I also owned high-volume pipelines and platform services: a 100K+ biller accounts/day bill-fetch system with backpressure and circuit breakers, and a multi-channel notification platform ingesting ~3M+ alerts/day with HMAC validation and SQS fan-out.

To strengthen production outcomes, I delivered a DynamoDB-paginated reconciliation engine (~80K orders/day at ~96% auto-resolve), added real-time payment-limit enforcement, improved observability (50% less debugging time), and extended automation with Claude AI skills for test coverage intelligence.
