At OPEN LANGUAGE INITIATIVE, I coordinate multilingual translation projects from task assignment through delivery. I manage workflows in Asana and Bureau Works and apply quality assurance procedures using client glossaries and style guides.
At HILALPLAY, I create, edit, and QC SRT files for TV shows, movies, and trailers. I also adapt Turkish TV shows for international audiences and coordinate final deliveries.
At THE GUARDIAN LTD, I translated documents from English to Swahili and edited, rewrote, and fact-checked editorial content. I also reviewed final page layouts and wrote headlines and captions.
My translation work includes translating a 123-page novel from French to Swahili for KUMPENNY SOLUTIONS and translating, proofreading, and reviewing documents for TRANSLATORS WITHOUT BORDERS, where I received the Second-Best Swahili Translator Certificate in 2021.
