What I'm looking for

I'm looking to build on my database infrastructure background in a security-focused role involving access hardening, platform risk assessment, and practical offensive-security development.

At Guardsman Group, I manage SQL Server operations across Jamaica, the Bahamas, Barbados, and St. Lucia, covering on-premises instances and Azure SQL Managed Instance.

I architected and maintained a three-node Always On Availability Group with an Azure-hosted disaster-recovery replica, documented failover procedures, and led a groupwide SQL Server 2016 to 2022 upgrade.

I built automated database health reporting with Telegraf, InfluxDB, and Grafana, and designed backup and recovery processes using Azure Blob Storage. I also support Sage 300 ERP database migrations, restore Azure SQL Managed Instance backups on-premises, and troubleshoot production issues across performance, connectivity, and infrastructure.

I've transitioned into cybersecurity work at Guardsman Group, where I lead platform inventory and risk assessment efforts and own database access hardening. I'm also developing offensive-security skills through structured TryHackMe practice.
