I’m a Biology graduate working as a Clinical Lab Associate I, focused on accurate, compliant processing that supports complex, longitudinal patient care. I accession and process high volumes of clinical and research samples daily while adhering to stringent CAP/CLIA regulatory standards and laboratory SOPs.

I verify and document patient demographics, clinical records, and test requisitions within OPUS and LIMS to ensure sample-to-order integrity. When discrepancies appear, I resolve them to streamline processing and reduce turnaround time—staying grounded in detailed, quality-driven documentation aligned with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) standards.

Beyond day-to-day workflow, I contribute to improvement efforts such as the One-Touch workflow pilot, providing frontline feedback on operational feasibility, risks, and error reduction. I also utilize Salesforce to triage and resolve operational cases, coordinating with customer success and cross-functional teams to promptly address sample and order issues.

I actively monitor for recurring errors, process gaps, and workflow inefficiencies, then escalate trends and recommend corrective measures tied to quality and service metrics. I also train and onboard new team members on laboratory workflows and compliance procedures (including HIPAA, CAP, and CLIA standards), and I apply those same attention-to-detail practices when processing research specimens under specialized workflows.
