What I'm looking for

I am looking for a research role that fosters collaboration and innovation in biology.

I am a junior biology student at Middle East Technical University, currently pursuing my undergraduate degree with a keen interest in immunology, neuroscience, and cancer biology. My aspiration is to conduct research on autoinflammatory diseases in the future, contributing to advancements in medical science.

Throughout my academic journey, I have actively engaged in various extracurricular activities, including co-founding the Evrimsel journal, which aims to amplify the voices of biological sciences students through independent scientific articles. My internship experiences at Istanbul University’s Aziz Sancar Institute of Experimental Medicine have equipped me with hands-on skills in cell culture, RNA isolation, and various laboratory techniques, enhancing my practical knowledge in immunology.

In addition to my academic pursuits, I have developed digital skills in software such as Final Cut Pro and After Effects, which complement my interests in digital design and creative projects. I am eager to leverage my background and skills in a research-oriented role that aligns with my passion for biology and contributes to meaningful scientific discoveries.
