Ghaida Tagalasfia

I am a dedicated and driven individual pursuing a BA in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics at the University of Pennsylvania. My academic journey has equipped me with a strong analytical mindset and a commitment to understanding complex societal issues. I have maintained a cumulative GPA of 3.4, reflecting my dedication to my studies and my ability to balance academic rigor with extracurricular involvement.

In my professional experience, I have had the opportunity to work as a consultant with Black Wharton, where I collaborated with a team to advise a Black-owned company on enhancing their financial strategies. This experience honed my skills in budgeting, resource allocation, and revenue growth. Additionally, my internships with Rise Above Colorado and the Denver Organizing Committee allowed me to engage with local communities, raise awareness about critical issues, and contribute to impactful outreach campaigns.

As a leader, I served as the President of the Student Council at Crescent View Academy, where I successfully coordinated various initiatives, including fundraising efforts that raised over $2,000. My commitment to community service is further demonstrated through my role as Co-President of Hilal Sisters, where I organized sessions for girls and coordinated humanitarian efforts. I am passionate about making a positive impact and am eager to bring my skills and experiences to a dynamic organization.
