I am a Limited License Psychologist (LLP) with a Ph.D. in Developmental Science and Infant Mental Health from Wayne State University, specializing in early childhood and perinatal mental health research. My work centers on infants and families navigating non-optimal early conditions: preterm birth, in-utero opioid exposure, and barriers to care and resources.
I currently serve in a hybrid clinical-research role at the Merrill Palmer Skillman Institute's Early Childhood Support Clinic, the first social work-based behavioral health clinic embedded directly within pediatric primary care at Wayne Pediatrics. In this role, I design and oversee the clinical-research data infrastructure that supports both provider documentation and grant-funded research deliverables, and I contribute to grant writing, manuscript preparation, and conference presentations. This work builds on nearly a decade of psychological and neurodevelopmental assessment experience across the lifespan, with particular expertise in ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder evaluation, and program-level leadership including: training staff, building clinical documentation systems, and using data to drive practice improvement in an integrated pediatric behavioral health setting.
Earlier in my career, I coordinated multi-site research as part of the NICHD Neonatal Research Network, guiding studies from launch through publication. This experience shapes how I approach research infrastructure and grant-funded deliverables today.
