What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a remote Director, Staff, or Principal-level role where I can lead platform engineering and DevSecOps—scaling Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure, security/compliance, and observability while mentoring teams.

I’m a technology leader with 18+ years of experience designing, operating, and scaling multi-cloud infrastructure for enterprise SaaS platforms. I specialize in Kubernetes orchestration and reliability-focused platform engineering, with a strong DevSecOps mindset.

I’ve directed platform engineering, DevSecOps, and technology operations as a people manager (teams of up to 10 engineers, $5M budgets) and as a hands-on senior technical contributor. At Zenfolio, I architected and migrated a greenfield Azure environment, containerized across 15 private AKS clusters, and reduced monthly infrastructure spend from $380K to $180K through FinOps optimization and architectural redesign.

I build infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code—Terraform/Terragrunt, Helm, and CloudFormation/Bicep/ARM—then deliver changes with GitOps practices like Argo CD/Flux. I also own full-stack observability using OpenTelemetry, New Relic, Prometheus, Grafana, and Datadog, improving platform stability from daily incidents to 99.99% uptime.

I maintain strict compliance across a three-brand multi-cloud SaaS portfolio (PCI-DSS Level 1, HIPAA, HITRUST, FedRAMP, GDPR/CCPA, FISMA, SOX, and NIST) and have led 6 M&A technical due diligence evaluations resulting in 4 successful acquisitions. I also built GPU/AI inference infrastructure for ML training and image analysis workloads, and I’m an aggressive early adopter of AI tooling to drive operational efficiency.
