What I'm looking for

I am looking for opportunities that foster innovation and collaboration in engineering projects.

I am Gabrielle Dorney, an engineer with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering Technology and a minor in Engineering Management from Old Dominion University. Since 2019, I have been working as an Engineer II at Adnet, where I provide parts engineering services for NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center. My role involves managing the Electrical, Electronic, and Electro-Mechanical (EEE) parts program for various spacecraft projects, including POLSIR and PACE. I take pride in my ability to conduct Failure Review Board meetings and maintain essential project parts references and databases.

Prior to my current position, I served as a Nuclear Engineer I at Huntington Ingalls Industries, where I resolved deficiency reports and provided support for training operations related to spent fuel removal. My experience also includes an engineering research internship at Old Dominion University, where I tested and maintained electronic components and oversaw laboratory equipment operations. I am dedicated to ensuring quality and safety in engineering practices, as evidenced by my certifications in visual inspection and electrostatic discharge control.
