Brian Oh
@brianoh
Electrical engineer focused on power systems, circuit design, and reliable electronics for high-safety environments.
What I'm looking for
I am an electrical engineer with hands-on experience designing and improving power systems for nuclear plants and military applications, complemented by internships developing electronics and RF troubleshooting. I hold a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from UIUC and am pursuing an M.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Johns Hopkins.
At Sargent & Lundy I performed load flow, short-circuit, and power-distribution calculations, developed design inputs, and specified equipment to meet strict safety and performance standards. In consulting roles I completed voltage-drop and short-circuit studies, created schematics, used LTSpice/AutoCAD, and used RF/network test equipment to resolve wireless and PCB issues.
I bring practical assembly and testing experience, proficiency in C/C++/Python and engineering tools like ETAP and MATLAB, and a focus on reliability, clear communication, and rigorous documentation to support complex, safety-critical projects.
